We usually reply within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri). Please include your device type (iPhone / Android), your Brain Clarity app version (found under Profile → Settings → About), and a short description of the issue.

Account & Sign-in
I forgot my password — what should I do?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password". We send you a reset link by email. This only works while the email address is still reachable. If you no longer have access to the address, write to us at the support address above.
I'm not receiving the 2FA code in the app / by email.
First check your spam folder — automated emails sometimes end up there. The code is valid for 5 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, request a new one (button appears in the app after 30 seconds of waiting). If that doesn't help: contact support.
I lost my recovery code.
Recovery codes cannot be reset for security reasons without verifying your identity. Write to us using the email address of your Brain Clarity account — we'll help you regain access.
Brain Clarity Pro
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Brain Clarity Pro is billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — cancellation happens directly there:
- iOS: Settings → [your name at top] → Subscriptions → Brain Clarity Pro → Cancel subscription
- Android: Open Google Play Store → profile picture top right → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Brain Clarity Pro → Cancel subscription
After cancellation, you keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
The annual plan includes 7 days free. If you cancel within those 7 days through your Apple or Google account, you pay nothing. Otherwise, the annual subscription is automatically charged and renews each year thereafter.
I had the subscription before — can I get the trial again?
No. The 7-day free trial is offered once per Apple ID or Google Account. Apple and Google handle this automatically.
I want a refund.
Refunds are also handled directly through Apple or Google — we have no technical access to them. You can request a refund through:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory → order → "Report a problem"
Data & Privacy
How can I export my data?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Export data. You receive a JSON file with your profile and all game scores. This is your right under Art. 20 GDPR (data portability).
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Your account and all linked game data are fully removed within 30 days (Art. 17 GDPR). Note: billing records are retained separately for 6–10 years due to German tax and commercial law (§§ 147 AO, 257 HGB).
Which data do you share with third parties?
We use processors (Firebase, RevenueCat, Postmark, Apple, Google) — the full list with purposes is in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising.
Technical Problems
The app crashes.
First try: close the app completely (swipe it away from the multitasking screen) and reopen. If that doesn't help, restart your device once. If still not: uninstall the app and reinstall it from the store — your account stays intact, after reinstall just sign in again.
If the problem persists, write to us with your device type, OS version, and Brain Clarity version. If you have a screenshot of the error: even better.
My streak is gone / my progress is missing after switching devices.
Your progress is tied to your account, not the device. Make sure you're signed in on the new device with the same email address. If data is still missing, write to us with your account email — we can check your profile.
I found a bug or have a feature idea.
We love feedback. Just email weber@snapdiscovery.de with subject "Bug" or "Feature idea". Bugs go straight into issue tracking, ideas we collect for upcoming releases.
